2Ezy™ concrete systems have high workability characteristics optimised for enhancing placement and finishing operations in the construction of concrete floors and pavements. Whilst most concretes are optimised for compressive strength, this system meets most specified performance levels while also aiding in the production of high-quality surface finishes.

The 2Ezy™ concrete system is recommended where a workable concrete is required for enhancing placement and finishing operations in slab construction. This is typically required for flatwork and larger horizontal elements in commercial and residential buildings.
Benefits
The 2Ezy™ concrete system is designed to have increased workability and improved placeability resulting in making pumping and finishing processes easier and faster. This is achieved without the need for adding extra water, which not only compromises compressive strengths and other mechanical properties, but also reduces early age performance (increased risk of surface dusting and early age cracking) as well as long-term durability (reduced abrasion).
The 2Ezy™ concrete system facilitates superior finishing with minimised effect on concrete setting time. There is little or no slump loss or spongy setting during placement and finishing. Care is needed when placing in aggressive conditions (high wind, very hot and-or low humidity environments). Your Excel representative can help in identifying the above. In summary, the 2Ezy™ concrete system allows slabs and other horizontal elements to be placed and finished more economically than with conventional mixes solely optimised for strength.
